The seminar, co-sponsored by ADB and the General Administration of the People’s Republic of China Customs:
- provided guidance for the implementation of the WCO Framework of Standards to Secure and Facilitate Global Trade (SAFE),
- presented modern customs tools such as the Customs Data Model, and
- provided a venue for policy dialogue and knowledge-sharing among country delegates.
