CAREC Workshop on Promoting Foreign Investment for Unlocking Critical Minerals Potential and Building Value-Added Supply Chains

On 17 June 2025, CAREC Secretariat organized a workshop in Issyk Kul, Kyrgyz Republic, as part of the CAREC Senior Officials’ Meeting (SOM), focused on Promoting Foreign Investment for Unlocking Critical Minerals Potential and Building Value-Added Supply Chains in the CAREC Region. The event helped senior officials enhance their understanding of key investment determinants, including macroeconomic stability, predictable taxation policies, sound capital markets, fiscal discipline, ESG compliance, infrastructure readiness and skilled human resources.
